The OIJ and Belouga partner up for promoting Youth Empowerment Initiatives around the 2030Agenda
The initiative aims to reach millions of young people and teachers who will be connected in the Belouga/OIJ campaign, hosted within http://www.Belouga.org. Youth and educators participating in the program will have the opportunity to learn, share, collaborate and connect with their peers across the world, and expand knowledge around global Issues and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With this partnership, Belouga joins the International Alliance for Youth Cooperation (Alianza Internacional de Cooperación en Juventud), an initiative promoted by OIJ, that includes over 100 partners, among them, governments, international organizations, NGOs, academia and private sector.
“Belouga is not only an educational platform: it is rather a different way of understanding education. With Belouga joining the International Alliance for Youth Cooperation, we promote this collaborative, horizontal and connective vision, facilitating access to education for young people and educators from the entire region, in the framework of the 2030 Youth Pact”, said Max Trejo, Secretary-General of OIJ.
“We are thrilled to join forces with OIJ – said Evin Schwartz, Founder and CEO of Belouga- this partnership will provide a strong environment for young people and teachers to learn about the world with the world and expand their horizons and possibilities”.
The International Youth Organization (Organismo Internacional de Juventud -OIJ) is an international organization with the membership of 21 governments from Ibero-America, promoting youth cooperation by linking the public agenda with civil society and acting to position young people as agents of social transformation.
