Airport

Madrid airport´s official name is Aeropuerto de Madrid – Barajas Adolfo Suárez, with IATA code: MAD and ICAO code: LEMD. In order to enter Spanish territory, it is necessary to have a valid passport or travel document. Alimentation
Lunch, dinner and coffee break will be covered by the organizors of the event during the two days of the meeting.
Location
The Inauguration of the Event, the plenary session, as well as the workshops during the two days, will take place in Medialab Prado, located in Calle de la Alameda, 15, 28014, Madrid (train station Madrid-Puerta de Atocha, nearest subway: Atocha).

Transfer

The transport, during the two days of the programme, will also be facilitated by the event´s organizers.

Languages

The official language of the Side event, Y20 Public Sector Dialogue on Future Jobs will be English.
The plenary sessions will have a translation service Spanish – English. Likewise, it is possible to have a translation in other languages, according to the attendees´ necessities.

Currency

The currency in Spain is the euro, which is used in coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents; 1
and 2 euros, as well as notes of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 500 euros.

The exchange rate between the dollar and euro  is 1 dollar = 0,8162 euros. This value is susceptible to changes depending on the day. There are many Exchange Offices in Madrid. The most used is Exact Change. You can find eight offices in the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, at the arrivals´ and departure´s places. In the center of the city you can find the same offices in Puerta del Sol, Calle Mayor and in the train station Madrid-Puerta de Atocha. Nevertheless, in Madrid, you can pay with credit or debit card in the most of commercial
establishments. Tipping is at guests´ discretion, and it is normal to give a tip amounting 5-10% of the price, or to round up the price.

Weather

Madrid has a relative humidity rate of 60% in the month of May. The typical temperatures in May are between 20º C and 25º C. There is a low probability of raining in this period.

Dress Code 

The Dress Code during the first day of the Event is semi- formal and formal during the second day of the Event.

Electricity
